Yatoro honestly shared what it’s like for him to play in tournaments against his friend Mira

Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk, Team Spirit carry, admitted that he can go for weeks without talking to Miroslav “Mira” Kolpakov if he knows he’s going to play against his friend and former teammate in a tournament, but everything changes after the match.

“If we’re about to play a match against a friend, we don’t talk for weeks, like we’re preparing for war. We know each other’s weak spots, which makes the games more interesting. But in real life, Mira and I are friends and we talk during tournaments and on days off. In any case, after the match, we communicate and discuss why they won or why we did”

According to him, he knows Mira’s strengths and weaknesses, and Mira knows his, so they don’t communicate much before the match. However after their teams meet, they can calmly discuss what happened in the game and the real reasons behind Team Spirit’s or Aurora’s victory or defeat.

He also admitted that during downtime or even at tournaments they can get along well, as they’ve been friends for a long time, and being on different teams doesn’t affect their friendship.
