Yatoro revealed the real reason behind Team Spirit's shocking defeat at The International 2024

Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk, the carry for Team Spirit, commented on his team's sudden loss to Nouns at The International 2024, calling the result fair.

The esports player shared this in a new video posted on the team's official Telegram channel.

"We played against Nouns, lost 0:2. In the first game, we just made a couple of mistakes, played too slowly, and that’s why we lost. On the second map, none of our plays worked"

The two-time world champion admitted that the team made a huge number of mistakes. Additionally, Yatoro believes that his team also lost in terms of drafting, which affected the outcome, and now Team Spirit will have to continue through the lower bracket.

"We played too greedily, picked too greedily. As a result, our smokes didn’t work, nothing worked. They just had a better draft. It’s fair that we fall to the lower bracket, and we’ll continue our journey there"

Notably, the esports player remained remarkably calm despite the team's loss and openly spoke about the reasons for the defeat at TI13.

It’s worth noting that earlier, Yatoro used a devastating combo over five years old at The International 2024 to crush his opponents.
