Ilya "Yatoro" Mularchuk let it slip that Team Spirit tested three or even four players to replace Denis "Larl" Sigitov in just a month, but fortunately, the midlaner returned.

The two-time Dota 2 world champion spoke about this during an interview at The International 2025.

"It was very difficult for us to practice because we changed three or four midlaners in a month, and the team did not show the best game. But overall, it was fine"

Yatoro noted that the team was not sure until the last minute that Larl would play with them at TI14. According to him, a month before the championship, Team Spirit did change three or four midlaners. The champion emphasized that it was not easy to play with them, and the teammates did not show the best results, so Larl's return made the team extremely happy.
