Yatoro gave an honest assessment of Team Spirit’s chances of winning TI14, pointing out the problems within the team

Ilya "Yatoro" Mularchuk said that Denis "Larl" Sigitov's injury left Team Spirit in limbo, and the roster even looked for a replacement, trying out three midlaners. However, he believes that they have every chance of winning TI14 after his return.

The two-time Dota 2 world champion spoke about this during an interview at The International 2025.

"Yes, it was hard to understand the situation three or four days before TI. We only found out that we would go with Larl. It was very difficult for us to practice, because we changed three or four midlaners in a month, and the team did not show the best game. But overall, it was fine"

Yatoro noted that it was hard for them without Larl, and the team was very encouraged after his return. Although, according to him, Team Spirit had a hard time preparing, he believes that they will still win.

"I think this is a good tournament for us. We prepared a lot. I think we can make a splash on it, and we have every chance to win the tournament"
