Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk, the carry for Team Spirit, revealed that he never plays mid because he considers himself quite an unlucky player. He joked that this is why the mid role went to Denis "larl" Sigitov.

It's not entirely clear what the two-time world champion meant, but statistics show that Yatoro indeed played 96% of his matches as a carry. However, he has spent a bit more time on the mid lane compared to the offlane.
