Yatoro about Team Spirit

Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk, the carry player for Team Spirit, admitted that he was tired of his teammates and had developed a negative attitude towards them, which was one of the reasons for the team's poor results in the last Dota 2 season, pushing him to go inactive.

The two-time world champion wrote about this on his Telegram channel.

"Working with the same group over several years takes its toll. You can't remain as impartial when working with people you know so well. One way or another, after living together for 3-4 years non-stop, not by choice, there is inevitably some negative residue that, perhaps indirectly, but still affects the results"

According to him, after spending so much time with his teammates, he could no longer view their performances objectively. Moreover, Yatoro admitted that he had accumulated negativity towards his teammates, so he desperately needed a break, otherwise, he wouldn't be able to deliver good results.

The esports player also linked the poor results throughout the season to the tension within the team, which may not have directly but indirectly impacted Team Spirit performance. Nonetheless, he guaranteed that he would return to the team and said there should be no doubt about that.

It is worth noting that previously Miroslav "Mira" Kolpakov shared what he plans to do after going inactive from Team Spirit.
