Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk said that the spring was hard for
Team Spirit because of the overloaded schedule of competitions, which led to the team's decision to skip several tournaments to give the players a rest.
The two-time world champion revealed this during an interview with Mira “Ephey” Riyadh on Twitch.
"It's fine. We had a big break before PGL Wallachia Season 5. We rested for about 20 days. We had a tough spring this year because tournaments were going on in a row. So we took a break at the beginning of the summer and dropped a few events. That's normal with this schedule"
Yatoro noted that the schedule was indeed busy, but after the team decided to take a break, he was fine with it. It is worth noting that many teams complain about the oversaturation of the calendar, because sometimes the break between tournaments is only a few hours or one day.
For Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov and Denis “Larl” Sigitov the situation is especially problematic - they did not have a full rest, unlike Yatoro and Collapse, who rested since last year.
Recall that earlier Yatoro recognized the problems in
Team Spirit and spoke about the consequences for the team's results.
