Daniil "yamich" Lazebnyi stated that during his time with
Virtus.pro, the tag change to
Outsiders negatively impacted his gameplay level.
The esports player made this statement during Kirill "Hellscream" Lagutik's Twitch stream.
"Whatever name you give the team, that's how it will sail. I was in terrible tilt when they called us
Outsiders, really.
Why
Outsiders? Like they name the ship, so it sails. In the end,
Outsiders won the Major in Brazil in CS:GO. You can't argue with that.
Personally, I didn't like the team name back then."
Virtus.pro performed under the
Outsiders tag from late April to mid-September 2022, after which the team reverted to its original name. At that time, the organization's roster was vastly different from the current one. In the new
Virtus.pro roster, not a single player from the temporary tag remained. Currently, Daniil "yamich" Lazebnyi is playing as part of
Team Secret.

It's worth recalling that earlier,
Virtus.pro support Artem "fng" Barshak named the toughest opponents at the DreamLeague Season 22 tournament.
