Dy will take a rest from competitive Dota 2

Xtreme Gaming support Ding «Dy» Cong has said that he will be taking a long break from the competitive Dota 2 scene and may soon retire. For now, Dy plans to devote more time to streaming his games.

Dy said he will be streaming regularly in the near future, he said ppl can see him as retired cuz he will be taking a rest for at least a season long from now on. He said he has already been playing in pro scene for about 7 years long without a break, and that’s why he made this choice eventually. He also said if he still has the ability to compete in pro scene he will do it for sure, but if not he will give his spot to someone else who has brighter future to let them chase their own dreams.
According to Dy, he is ready to give up his place in the Xtreme Gaming team to a younger and more promising player, and leave the professional Dota 2 scene.
Extreme Gaming lost to the Azure Ray team in the final of the regional qualifiers in China and will not take part in The International 2023.
