Chao "XinQ" Zixing, who plays for
Azure Ray, shared that during a Dota 2 LAN tournament, he directly called Clement "Puppey" Ivanov a "shabi," which translates from Chinese to "idiot".
The segment with XinQ's unusual admission was posted on the Dota Lin Official YouTube channel.
"When he spoke to me, he said, 'Hello, hello.' I said, 'Shabi,' which means 'idiot' in Chinese, because he supported Pugna. Then he asked me, 'What does "shabi" mean?' I replied, 'That's what good friends call each other.' After that, he didn't say anything to me"
However, this moment marked the beginning of a friendship between the players. XinQ mentioned that Puppey later also referred to him as "shabi" and gave him a tight hug.
"He hugged me so tightly that I couldn't move. Then I asked him what he wanted. He started scrolling through his phone's chat history and told me to just wait. Then he pointed at me and said, 'Be careful next time, shabi.' I was laughing so hard, damn it. It was really funny. I think I have a good relationship with him. Every time I see him, he always smiles"
Recall that earlier XinQ confirmed rumors about the major reshuffling in the
Azure Ray team, with three players moving to
Xtreme Gaming alongside Wang "Ame" Chunyu.
