Windranger received a critical nerf in patch 7.37d, making her the worst hero in Dota 2, although she was part of the meta before the gameplay update.
This is evidenced by data from the DotaBuff portal.
According to the statistics,
Windranger win rate dropped by 7.52% within just a few hours, now sitting at 43.53%. In other words, the hero is now losing nearly 60% of her matches in Dota 2. Her popularity in pubs has also decreased by 7%.

The sharp decline in performance is due to a significant nerf from Valve. Specifically, her ability Whirlwind was weakened, reducing the range of her ultimate by an additional 25 units. This means the developers reduced the range of her ultimate attack by 33%, impacting her win rate. Additionally, the ability now has a longer cooldown, and
Windranger cannot attack while it is active.

It is worth noting that in patch 7.37d, Ringmaster was also nerfed, as he is no longer an incredibly strong support and may even fall out of the new Dota 2 meta.
