Why no Chinese team at DreamLeague S21

Tournament operator ESL explained to the viewers the reason why they could not invite any Chinese teams to the DreamLeague Season 21 tournament.

A cornerstone of the #ESLProTour rankings is that at least one team from each region is invited to DreamLeague. Unfortunately, due to the busy schedule of events, our Chinese invites were sadly unable to attend. Thank you for your understanding.
Since the dates for DreamLeague Season 21 fit too tightly between the regional qualifiers, other events and The International 2023, teams from China simply do not have time. For this reason, Entity and OG were invited to DreamLeague S21.
DreamLeague Season 21 will be held online from September 18th to 24th. 12 best teams from all over the world will take part in the tournament. The prize pool is 1,000,000 dollars.
