Why Mira wasn't brought back to Team Spirit: the team could have lost all EPT points

Team Spirit may have refrained from signing Miroslav “Mira” Kolpakov back in order to preserve all their EPT points as, as Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk and Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov had rejoined the roster.

This is primarily due to the fact that Team Spirit faced an unfortunate loss of a portion of EPT points that are vital in order to secure a direct spot for Masters 2025 in Riyadh after the team made the decision to switch up their roster and add two new players. The policies state that the moment a team makes three new roster ‘changes’ all accrued points are rendered void and the team is dropped from the ESL ranking’s 5th position.

There is a gap in the rules which states that ESL tournaments can replace players through the point retention loophole. After Dreamleague Season 25, chances are that team spirit will re attribte Mira.

However, Mira has made it pretty clear that there is only one certain condition under which he will be willing to shift back to the star-studded team.
