Matthew “Whitemon” Philmon said that wining the BLAST Slam IV Dota 2 tournament left him with mixed feelings, as
Tundra Esports showed a very low level of preparation in some matches.
The player made this statement on YouTube.
“I don't know how to feel. I have mixed felings. There were matches where we played very poorly, and there were series where we played very well. I am proud of my team.”
According to Matthew “Whitemon” Philmon, he is proud that his team was able to overcome difficulties despite some unsuccessful moments.
The esports player also commented on the draft duplication on the decisive map of the grand final against
Team Falcons. Matthew “Whitemon” Filmon noted that the opponents were confident in the reliability of their draft despite their initial defeat, but the
Tundra Esports players analyzed their mistakes and were able to finish the decisive map in their favor.
“I never thought something like this could happen. But we played against Falcons, they often do similar things. They were confident in their drafts, but we worked on our mistakes.”
Earlier, Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev criticized Matthew “Ari” Walker's play for
Tundra Esports, calling on the team to replace the player.
