When will the new Dota 2 patch be released

The Dota 2 community assumes that the new patch for Dota 2 might come out in the night from December 11 to 12, which is indirectly hinted by the end of the Dota Plus season and the frequent updates of the test servers.

Many fans hope that the change of the Dota Plus season end date in the previous mini-update was done exactly to hint at the patch release date. It is expected that this time the patch will not be a letter one, but a big one with the number 7.40.

Others believe that the gameplay changes will be minimal, and instead the Frostivus event will start in the game and a new mode with reviving ancients will appear, which dataminers already managed to test.
