Egor "Xakoda" Lipartia, a former player for
Virtus.pro and
One Move, announced that he might leave the professional Dota 2 scene next year and focus on streaming.
He shared this in his Telegram channel.
"I've dropped to 60th rank right now, but I think I'll be back in the top 30 in a few days. I'm waiting for the end of this year, and I'll see how I feel about it. I might retire and switch to streaming. But if I feel 100%, I'll keep going and won't stop"
Xakoda added that he is still uncertain about his future plans but doesn't rule out the possibility of fully dedicating himself to streaming. He also mentioned that if he resolves his mental health issues, he might continue his Dota 2 career.
He hasn't specified whether he received any offers from teams. In July 2024, Xakoda left DMS, the team of Nikita "Daxak" Kuzmin, and has been without a team since.
As a reminder, Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk recently confirmed grand plans with Miroslav "Mira" Kolpakov after their departure from
Team Spirit.
