A way to use an ultimate ability three times consecutively in Dota 2 has been discovered

Players have found a way to use an ultimate ability or any other hero ability three times in a row without cooldown, requiring only two items.

If a hero has both Refresher Orb and Refresher Shard, they can use any ability three times, bypassing the mandatory cooldown. Fans of Dota 2 discovered that, despite their similar names and identical cooldown-resetting effects, the two items do not share a common cooldown period.

This means any ability, including ultimate abilities, can be used at least three times in fights during a Dota 2 match. This opens up huge possibilities for build strategies, allowing, for example, triple casts of Black Hole in team fights and complete battlefield control.

However, Valve is likely aware of this and may release a fix to avoid balance issues in Dota 2 matchmaking.
