Watson named the top three strongest Dota 2 heroes in patch 7.36 for MMR climbing

In Dota 2, Alimzhan "Watson" Islambekov, the carry player from Entity, considers innate abilities and aspects introduced in Patch 7.36 to be the most important mechanics. The top three strongest heroes were highlighted by this esports player in the recent update.

He aired his views on Metaratings commentary.

“Legion Commander because of her shield, Batrider due to his innate ability or Templar Assassin due to Refraction”

The top heroes of patch 7.36 according to Watson:

• Legion Commander

• Batrider

• Templar Assassin

Based on this background information, one of the best heroes is Legion Commander as Stonehall Plate creates a shield that hurts enemies. Moreover, Smoldering Resin which is Batrider native ability also makes him very good due to slow damage. Also, Templar Assassin becomes better through Refraction aspect increasing damage output.

It should be noted that now it’s not clear what meta will be like from patch to patch. In addition, another update version 7.36a was added which might again shuffle top heroes list changing current favorites’ position in matchmaking lists.
