Watson shared how he is really treated in Gaimin Gladiators

Alimzhan "Watson" Islambekov admitted that after joining Gaimin Gladiators, he easily built relationships with his new teammates since he had known many of them for a long time before the transfer.

He shared this in an interview at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024.

"We played for a week, scrimming and just getting used to each other. They welcomed me chill. Basically, I knew everyone—I’d seen them before at tournaments. Just a relaxed atmosphere"

According to the player, he integrated into the team quite easily, although the bonding process is still ongoing. Nevertheless, he noted that the team has a laid-back atmosphere, and they have been successfully scrimming without much tension.

However, he did mention that some news, especially the hate directed toward him after replacing Anton "Dyrachyo" Shkredov, does affect him. Still, he tries not to pay much attention to most of the comments.

"Time will tell, what can I say... Of course, I see these news stories. Just scrolling through TikTok and Telegram—boom. People send me different news in chat. I don't feel anything terrible inside"
