Virtus.pro unexpectedly declined their invite to the qualifiers for The International 2025

Virtus.pro declined the invitation to the closed qualifiers for the Eastern Europe (EEU) region at The International 2025 without explaining their decision.

The club has not yet commented in any way on such an unusual decision, but a possible explanation has already emerged. According to fans, it may be due to the high competition in the European region, because of which the team may try to qualify through the MESWA region. The competition there is noticeably lower, which means that Virtus.pro chances of qualifying for the Dota 2 World Championship are higher.

In addition, the team's bootcamp is located in this region, and the rules allow them to participate in the qualifiers based on their actual location. It should be noted that this is not the first time that the team resorts to such trickery.
