Virtus.pro set a historic Dota 2 record, surpassing Team Liquid

Virtus.pro are the first team in history to have played more than 3,000 matches on the Dota 2 professional scene, overtaking Team Liquid.

This is shown by statistics from the DatDota portal.

It is noted that Virtus.pro have played 3,018 maps on the Dota 2 pro scene with an impressive win rate of 56.39%. Their closest competitors are Team Liquid with 2,983 maps, followed by LGD Gaming with 2,919 maps.

However, the famous organization is currently going through a difficult period. The club last won a tournament back in 2018, claiming victory at The Kuala Lumpur Major. Since then, the team’s most significant achievement has been a 5th–6th place finish at The International 2021.

It is worth recalling that earlier, Reddit users demanded that Valve ban a well-known Dota 2 pro player.
