Ivan “OneJey” Zhivitskiy, the support player of
Virtus.pro, stated that you can climb MMR in pubs even with a bad team if you play your own heroes and focus only on doing your role.
The esports player talked about this during a stream on Twitch.
“Don’t ***** on your teammates because if you start **** on them, it wont give you any profit. Follow your own game, play your heroes and follow your gameplay. The four people you have in your team – they’re just four random *******, so you cant rely on them. You need to play only for yourself. Strictly do your gameplay, no matter what kind of ****** you have in your team. And just improve like that. Sooner or later you will start climbing, if you play well. Even with four ***** in your team. Just make a difference in a couple moments, and the whole game will be won”
According to him, there’s no point complaining about random teammates that you get in matchmaking. OneJey noted that even if they communicate or play badly, its important not to look at them but at your own play. If you pick the right heroes and do your job, you will soon learn to win even with random players, as long as you make your impact.
The support player added that it’s important to rely only on your own strenght, then you’ll be able to climb rating even solo.
Its worth reminding that Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen shocked the Dota 2 community with a new achievement.
