Topson stunned the Dota 2 community with a new achievement

Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen quickly surpassed the 15,000 MMR mark, shocking the Dota 2 community.

This happened during the two-time world champion’s stream on Twitch.

Fans were also impressed by the former pro player’s performance. In his last 14 matches, he lost only 5 times, while continuing to develop new builds. Many of his builds eventually become meta and are even used in official Dota 2 pro-scene matches.

It’s worth noting that the player gained over a thousand MMR in just a month, as he had around 14,000 MMR at the beginning of November. If Topson maintains his pace, he could surpass 17,000 MMR by spring 2026, and might even top the European Dota 2 ladder.

Previously, Valve released a Dota 2 update that disappointed fans.
