Valve urgently banned trading

Valve has released an update with bug fixes for patch 7.39e, and the main new feature is a ban on trading items with a cooldown to combat dupes.

This was announced on the official Steam page.

The developers noted that items with a trade cooldown can no longer be listed on the marketplace. Although it is not directly stated, the measure is likely aimed at combating dupes and fraud. A large number of dupe items have appeared on the Steam Market, leading to a collapse in prices for a number of cosmetics.

It is not yet known how long the ban will last, but some esports players warn that it is now worth being more careful when buying skins, as you can be banned for duplicate items.
