Valve has released a test update for CS2, bringing improvements to engine performance as well as new character animations.
It is noted that due to these improvements, CPU load has been reduced, which increased overall game performance. This should positively affect FPS for most players. Additionally, all animations have been reworked and updated, so character movement now looks different
A new feature has also been added: in third-person view, you can now see how the player pulls out a knife. However, the changes are currently in testing, and to try them out, you need to go to the game properties in Steam and select animgraph_2_beta in the beta versions tab
The developers also encouraged players to send feedback on the new animation system, which will influence the final version of the update in the stable release of CS2.
