Developers of Dota 2 released a small patch for the game on the night from January 2 to 3, aimed at fixing an annoying bug related to the indestructible Frosty the North Ward.
The official patch notes were not published, but changes were noticed on the SteamDB website, where it was observed that Valve updated the client files.
The main fix addresses the issue of being unable to target the Frosty the North Ward ward, which caused a lot of trouble for the Dota 2 community. Players had been requesting Valve to address the problem for several days, as it significantly impacted the balance during matches, providing an advantage to certain teams.
Recall that a patch 7.35b was previously released for Dota 2, aimed at addressing balance issues with hero abilities and new items introduced in the previous major update.
