Valve announced that Crownfall will not end with The International 2024. The developers stated that they decided to extend the event until mid-October due to the large amount of content.
This was reported on the official Dota 2 website.
“If you have just joined us, we remind you that all previous acts are still available until the end of Crownfall. Speaking of it: since the event has already become significantly larger than we originally intended (and continues to grow), we decided to extend it until mid-October”
According to data miners, it was initially planned that the "Skywrath Spires" would start on July 9 and last until August 6, but the dates have been shifted. It is quite possible that the developers decided to create more content for the catacombs, which is why they extended the event.
Recently, only the third act of Crownfall was released, introducing a new mode called Sleet Fighter, which allows players to engage in a real fighting game with Dota 2 heroes.
