Valve unbanned Omega Esports

Omega Esports announced that after investigating and clarifying the circumstances of the incident, Valve removed the ban from the organization for participating in tournaments and DPC league.
Omega, following an investigation and guidance from Valve, took action and expelled some of the players: Chris Ian «CTY» Francis Maldo, Toni «Prince» Daculan and Ryniel Keit «Zenki» Calvez. The organization can reassemble the roster and play in the Spring Season of Dota Pro Circuit 2021/2022.

Following the decision made by the DOTA Pro Circuit Winter Season 2021-2022 organizers, Smart Omega immediately reached out to all the parties related to the incident and conducted an internal investigation.
As a result, we have terminated the contract of Chris "CTY" Maldo. Carrying out the decision of Valve, we have ended the contracts of Prince "Prince" Daculan, and Ryniel "Zenki" Calvez. Furthermore, Valve representatives have accepted our appeal to lift the ban on our organization, and has allowed us to join the DOTA Pro Circuit Spring Season and other Valve-sponsored events.
Smart Omega will also strengthen its internal processes to prevent these kinds of incidents from happening in the future.
As a staunch supporter of esports, our organization remains committed in upholding the rules of the league and in encouraging healthy competition in the global esports industry.

Earlier, the tournament organizer DPC in Southeast Asia announced that Omega Esports and players have been banned from all Valve tournaments. The reason is participation in matchfixing. The slot in Division I of SEA was occupied by BOOM Esports.
