Valve added the ability to buy materials for crafting new skins from the Monster Hunter crossover event in Dota 2, which previously could only be obtained by playing matches.
Players can now purchase several different material packs that are used to create new skins. Before, players had to hunt specific heroes in matches and preferably win to collect resources, but now these materials can simply be bought in the store.
Available materials:
24 common — $0.89
15 uncommon — $0.89
5 rare — $0.89
3 super rare — $1.78
It is worth noting, that item prices may vary depending on the player’s region. The materials can still be farmed in matches, but now there is also an option to buy them for money.
Recall, that earlier the worst Dota 2 hero after patch 7.40c was named, and players were advised not to pick it in matches.
