Valve shocked fans with their choice of the team that will replace Gaimin Gladiators at TI14

Yakutou Brothers have officially received an invitation from Valve to The International 2025, where they will replace Gaimin Gladiators, who withdrew from the tournament.

The announcement was made on The International’s official X (Twitter) page.

Many fans were surprised that OG were not invited to TI14, as they were considered the most logical choice. However, the decision in favor of Yakult Brothers was not accidental. The team currently holds the top spot in the Glicko-2 rankings among squads that had not yet received an invite.

This shows that Valve took a serious and data-driven approach when deciding on the final participant of the Dota 2 World Championship.
