In patch 7.41, Valve made major changes to neutral objectives in Dota 2, focusing mainly on the Tormentor, while also adjusting Roshan and Wisdom Shrines mechanics.
Key Tormentor changes
Now the first Tormentor spawns in the lower part of the map, near the three stair areas. Its mechanics were also reworked: it scales stronger over time, absorbing more damage with each minute, however its barrier regen is weaker. Also, the object no longer deals damage to neutral creeps.

The base damage reflection of Refraction (Rerfect) was reduced from 50% to 30%. At the same time, The Shining was changed: its base damage per second was heavily reduced, but now it increases over time as the match goes on.
Additional balance changes
Players no longer get 175 gold for obtaining a Shard from the Tormentor
If all team already have Shards, the gold reward is reduced from 455 to 415
Tormentor received 25% status resistance
The reflection radius can now be seen while holding ALT
Roshan and Wisdom Shrines changes
Developers also moved Roshan’s spawn point — now he appears in the upper pit. In the areas of Wisdom Shrines and Lotus Pools, the contest mechanic was changed: when both teams are present, the timer no longer pauses, but instead goes backwards.
Additionally, the experience from Wisdom Shrines was reduced from 280 to 200 base, but extra bonus is given for each next usage.
