Valve removed one of the important features in Dota 2 with the release of the new update

Valve has disabled the reforge functionality for the Spring Treasure 2025 set in Dota 2. The set can no longer be reforged into bonus treasure chests.

The bonus chest reforging capability was removed in the latest patch after 7.38b. Many users were caught by surprise when they learned of this feature removal, and as of now, users don’t seem to understand Valve’s reasoning behind this change.

Other users lightheartedly suggested that players wouldn't care about the feature removal, especially in light of the fact that most players would need to reforge 80,000 shards, which isn't exactly easy to farm.

On a different note, Valve had previously turned on the servers for Dota 2 that were shut down for two years.
