Valve released a significant update to Dota 2 ahead of The International 2024 finals

Dota 2 received an important update ahead of the finals of The International 2024, which introduced the Crimson Treasure 2024.

This update is reflected in changes to the game's client on GitHub.

Valve has added the new Crimson Treasure 2024 to the game, dedicated to TI13. Inside, players will find ultra-rare Immortal items for five heroes. The treasure is incredibly rare, as it can only be obtained randomly by watching matches during the finals of The International 2024.

This year's treasure includes crimson skins for Luna, Night Stalker, Meepo, Templar Assassin, and Disruptor. However, every viewer of the Dota 2 World Championship can receive the treasure by linking their Steam profile with the TI13 event pass.

It’s worth noting that Valve previously issued unexpected compensation to all owners of the 2024 Compendium in Dota 2.
