Valve released an unusual update for Dota 2

Valve released a mini-update for Dota 2, and moved the Quartero's Curios to the main menu background, even tho the event should’ve already ended on November 5.

This changes were reported by Telegram channel Dota of Stepan.

It’s noted that the main innovation of this update is the change of the main menu background. The Quartero's Curios have now been moved to the background, while the Cosmic Heroes’ Hoard was placed on the banner.

There’s also one minor change: Tinker’s shoulder slot — max polycount for Lod1 was increased from 2000 to 3000. Many players find this update kinda strange, since the Quartero's Curios event should’ve ended already on November 5. Some users assume this is a preparation for a bigger Dota 2 update.

Some even think that on November 5–6, the Diretide 2025 holiday event will start, and maybe a new hero will appear.
