Valve released a new update for CS2 that added 5 custom maps to the game. The company might have paid between $20,000 and $50,000 to the creators for each map.

"The maps accepted today will earn daily revenue, which is negotiated with the mapmakers in advance (hence the early leaks about the addition of these maps). The sums that the creators will receive for these maps are not that large. Generally, over the period the maps are in the game, 5v5 maps will bring the authors around $50,000, while 2v2 maps will bring around $20,000"
According to him, while these maps did not cost as much as Anubis and Tuscan, they will still provide a decent income for the creators for each day they are in the game. It is quite likely that these maps will be available to players for 5-6 months and could cost Valve several hundred thousand dollars.

However, how realistic these figures are is unknown, as no official information from Valve on this matter has been published.

It is worth noting that the major update added the maps Thera and Mills to the "Competitive," "Casual," and "Deathmatch" modes. The maps Memento and Assembly are now available in the "Wingman" mode. The last map, Pool Day, is available in the "Arms Race" mode.
