Fans called for Valve to redesign the Dota 2 map and bring in more water in areas as water dominated the aspect of a more dynamic beginning of every match.
This topic is gaining momentum on Reddit.
A particular player came up with his custom version of the Dota 2 map, where he introduced more water bodies in the form of rivers and went ahead to submerge some areas of the land. They also feel that one of the Roshan Pits should be submerged which will enhance the fun of the game, particularly in the beginning phases of the game.

In the comments many users argued that such a map modification would increase the enjoyment of the public matches. The concept is that the
Trusty Shovel would be effective at recovering Water Runestones from the water. Also, it would be a nice boost to
Slardar who has a bonus of movement speed when in water.
Of note however, previously, Valve also offered Dota 2 players a radical rework regarding major reconstruction of the map by incorporating an extra level underneath the current map.
