Valve promised compensations to Dota 2 players: what happened

Valve has promised to send unusual items from the Frostivus 2023 Treasure Chest to players who were supposed to receive them but couldn't due to a bug.
This information was shared in the developers' blog on Steam.
"Some items from the Frostivus 2023 Treasure Chest were missing unusual variants. Those have been added. Over the next couple of days, unusual items from these sets that should have been dropped will be granted"
Additionally, the Dota 2 developers addressed several other issues with a special update. Numerous problems affecting the client and providing unfair advantages during matches were fixed.
Here is the complete list of changes:
Some items from the Frostivus 2023 Treasure Chest were missing unusual variants. Those have been added. Over the next couple of days, unusual items from these sets that should have been dropped will be granted.
Fixed an issue where Wards in Frostivus 2023 could not be attacked or selected.
Fixed an issue where checking certain items in the quickbuy could cause the game to hang for teammates.
Fixed an issue where Arc Warden's Tempest Double could gain gold from selling Hand of Midas.
Fixed an issue where neutral abilities gained through Devour on Doom were not properly upgraded as the game progressed.
Fixed an issue where Lina would gain infinite Fiery Soul charges until she cast another spell if she disconnected after using Laguna Blade.
Fixed an issue where Tiny's tree particles would display at the wrong time.
Fixed rare server crashes caused by movement-manipulating abilities (e.g., Charge of Darkness).
Fixed an issue where items on the profile showcase could appear floating in the air above the hero.
Added missing descriptions for various recipes.
Fixed some errors in the guides on the "Learn" tab that appeared after the 7.35 patch was released.
It's worth noting that Valve previously released an unexpected patch aimed at fixing the issue with the holiday ward that was indestructible.
