Valve has nerfed the most overpowered hero in Dota 2 ahead of The International 2024

Valve decided to nerf Nature's Prophet in patch 7.37c ahead of The International 2024, which was previously considered the strongest hero in the Dota 2 meta.

Immediately after the nerf, the hero's win rate dropped, losing 2% effectiveness in matchmaking. This happened because the developers increased the attack pause of Treants in the Ironwood Treant aspect. This was considered one of the hero’s best abilities and allowed him to solo push enemy bases.

Additionally, the damage from Wrath of Nature was reduced, and now the hero does not deal as much damage as before patch 7.37c. It’s worth noting that before the new gameplay update, the hero was popular among the top carries in the world, but now esports players may need to reconsider their drafting strategies for TI13.
