Valve might release a significant update and launch a holiday event on March 8th, right during DreamLeague Season 22.
This information was shared by Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov in a post on his Telegram.
"There is also a theory that a major event dedicated to the love story of Vengeful Spirit and Rooster might come out precisely on March 8th (it would have been more logical for Valentine's Day, but this will work too), as March 8th is a day off at DreamLeague, and selling arcanas to those who will advertise them during the playoffs afterward is a reasonable idea. Besides, March 8th is International Women's Day, not just a Russian one. True, it is not celebrated everywhere, but the main thing is that in the Russian Federation (and in the post-Soviet space) and in China, this holiday is quite significant, and this is the location of probably 50% (I think even more) of all Dota players on the planet. THINK"
He noted that the event could be related to International Women's Day, and on March 8th, DreamLeague S22 is scheduled to have a day off. It's worth mentioning that Valve did announce the release of a major update after the conclusion of the Dragon's Gift holiday event, but specific dates were not provided in the announcement.
Recall that earlier NS predicted a possible release date for the Fallen Crown update in Dota 2, commenting on the launch of Patch 7.35c.
