Valve may release a new patch for Dota 2 in the coming days, without waiting for the conclusion of ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023. This speculation arises from a mysterious encrypted announcement made by the developers.
Streamer and former professional gamer Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov shared this statement on his Telegram.
"Looks like some verses from Volvo arrived, spoilers encrypted again, though it's not clear what it's about, seems like an event, but maybe spoilers for a patch. Anyway, since they dropped a bit, it means some update is coming soon, maybe I was wrong, and they won't wait for the end of ESL?"
Although there has been no official statement from Valve regarding the patch release date or a holiday update, NS's suggestion is plausible. It's quite possible that a new Dota 2 patch will be released on the 14th or 15th, as updates are typically rolled out on Thursdays or Fridays.
As a reminder, earlier, Dota 2 developers teased significant changes in an unconventional announcement, building anticipation for what lies ahead for players.
