Valve may be preparing to launch a new event in Dota 2

On the night of January 27–28 Valve quietly removed the themed background with Largo from the Dota 2 main page, replacing it with the standard design

Such changes have often happened before the launch of temporary events or major updates, that is why part of the community expects announcements in the near future despite the complete lack of official information in recent weeks

Interestingly a similar situation happened earlier, on January 13 Largo disappeared from the main screen inside the Dota 2 client. After that the Collector’s Cache with a new set of cosmetic items took the central place in the menu
