After the release of patch 7.39, attentive players discovered a curious detail: Valve left a reference to the legendary Dota developer - IceFrog - on the hero
Lion.
The corresponding screenshot was published on Reddit.
Now on the belt of
Lion can be seen a small vial, inside which sits a blue toad. Many took it as a direct and obvious hint to the mysterious curator of Dota 2, who for many years developed the game under the nickname IceFrog.

Players immediately began to actively discuss the find on Reddit and social networks. Some believe that it's just a harmless visual joke, others are sure that it's a sign that IceFrog still follows the project and participates in its development. There were also those who suggested that this is a symbolic farewell and tribute to the developer, who may no longer have anything to do with Dota 2.
Earlier Valve eliminated an ancient bug in Dota 2, which took 13 years to fix.
