Valve is being asked to introduce a new feature for obtaining unique rewards

The Dota 2 community is voicing their request for the option to buy landscapes for shards on the Dota Plus shop using shards instead of real money.

In addition, one user made a mock up of what a landscape shop for shards would look like and how much different types of landscapes would cost.

A lot of them supported the idea, saying that they don’t own any landscape or weather skins. It’d make sense to mention that acquiring a landscape in the game is nigh impossible as they were only obtainable by purchasing and were event challenges d reward for completing certain battle passes.

Others noted that Steam market landscapes and weather effects are definitely not in sale and made their plea for Valve to be at least make a statement on the topic.

Before this, Team Spirit manager stated his position suggesting that Valve should integrate another profit feature to Dota 2.
