Valve introduced an unexpected change in the latest Dota 2 update

In an update in Dota 2, it appears that not only the new Charms of the Snake cache was added, but there were also some modifications made towards the chat. Now the letters ‘C’ or ‘S” will be repeated three times.

This was information revealed by users on Reddit with supporting screenshots.

As you may see in the images, any word that includes the letters “C” or “S”, will have their appearance accentuated. This alteration is presumably linked with replicating the hissing noise that snakes make. Such a peculiar addition was included in the most recent patch, which is connected to the celebration of the Chinese New Year. In which case, it is represented with the Year of the Snake.

It is uncertain how long this change will take effect, and there has not been an official announcement from Valve in regard if its customizability exists or whether it will continue to be effective after the events of the Chinese New Year have ended.
