A minor update for Dota 2 has been launched, which includes the new Charms of the Snake treasure, along with nine community-created sets. Yet, the patch 7.38 that a lot of people have been waiting for is still not available.
This was made public on the game’s official page.
“Any biologist will tell you, for example, that snakes are one of the most interesting species on the planet. There are snakes that simply do not have a skeleton. They have no head, no brain, no organs, no anything. Just a tube with a mouth, a couple of eyes, and a tiny tail on the back. And that’s it. Such an animal does not seem like it’s going to survive anywhere and yet, against all odds, snakes do exist.”
On a side note, we should probably acknowledge that we were never able to get in touch with a biologist, as such some of the above statements could just be our guesses. But come on, ‘Snakes are cool’ is not something some wise man must tell us: on armor, on weapons, on bodies…even on hats. And adding a dozen snakes to something that is already cool makes sense, but there is a high chance that it will explode... so handle it with care"
The treasure chest is dedicated to the Year of the Snake and includes Snapfire, Medusa, Shadow Shaman, Naga Siren, Earth Spirit, and Templar Assassin cosmetic items. In addition, it has rare set for Lich and an exceptionally rare one for Necrophos.

The price of Charms of the Snake is around $3 but differs from region to region.
Previously, it was assumed that Valve would release in game event together with a fresh Arcana.
