Valve pleasantly surprised Dota 2 players by adding an unusual PvE mode in Act 4 of Crownfall in the form of a mini-game, where heroes must battle a final boss in a special arena.
Although no one has yet reached the concluding part of the storyline, dataminers have already discovered the mini-map and location in the game files.
The boss battle arena appears to resemble a royal palace. It’s likely that the final boss of Act 4, Crownfall, will be Imperia, who was introduced as the main antagonist of the event at its start.
The map’s territory looks quite large, and the boss fight may have several phases. Initially, there may be a battle with mobs, Imperia’s minions, followed by the opening of a small room’s door, from which the final boss will emerge.
It's still unknown whether players will face the boss solo or if they’ll be able to participate with other players or friends from Steam.
Earlier, Valve released Act 4 of Crownfall, which brought the final chapter of the storyline and introduced a new hero, Kez, to the game.
