Valve released an update for Dota 2 on April 22, which fixed the problem with watching matches in DotaTV.
Tournament operators published the guidelines for community streams, and the one of them: community streams need to add an additional delay of 5 minutes. So, many who broadcasted the DPC started watching the match on DotaTV and paused it for a certain time.
However, an error was soon discovered. When the viewer watched the game on DotaTV with a delay, the broadcast stopped and the user was kicked into the main menu after the end of the game in real time. This caused a wave of negativity towards TO and Valve, so the Dota 2 developers fixed this bug.
