Valve has blocked the Dota 2 account of Vyacheslav "asdekor_r" Ignatiev, who plays for
Yellow Submarine, founded by Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov. Many other professional players were also affected by the ban.
This information was shared by Dmitry "Fishman" Polishchuk, the captain of
Entity, on his Telegram.
"Lefitan, Limitless, asdekor_r, lupsione, Mariachi, Hell's Paradise, Zenitsu, Ankou, Serenada, mangekyou got banned for overwolf"
According to Fishman, the banned players allegedly used Overplus—an unofficial Dota 2 application that allows skin customization and draft analysis. Interestingly, asdekor_r has already confirmed on his Telegram that he has indeed received a ban.

It is likely that the wave of bans resulted from the implementation of new code for cheat detection, so the number of banned players may significantly increase in the near future.
Recall that Valve released a new update for Dota 2 called "Dragon's Gift" and launched a festive event in the game.
