Valve has announced the release date for the new Dota 2 patch

The next Dota 2 gameplay update, which is supposed to make substantial changes to several game mechanics as well as heroes, will be available on the twenty-third of May.

The Candle Token has a flickering darkness location where, with players also able to see an announcement that can be phrased as follows: "In the darkness, barely visible are tomorrow’s balance changes...". Since during the night between May 21 and 22 these updates were made available through the new location, it could mean that by the zone time on the twenty-third or twenty-fourth of May this patch will be released.

Remember that earlier in Dota 2 developers hinted some of the game modifications including changes of basic gameplay.
