Valve has announced a gameplay patch for Dota 2: several key game mechanics will be changed

Valve has added a new Candle Token to Dota 2, which allows players to see a teaser of the upcoming gameplay patch changes. Based on the announcement, developers will change several key game mechanics.

Here's the list of changes in the new Dota 2 patch:

• Base armor for ___ reduced by 0.5;

• Every time the sun rises, ___ reveals the entire map for 5 seconds;

• Disruptor: Kinetic Field replaced with Kinetic ___;

• Enemy attack projectiles within a 500 radius of ___ are slowed down;

• ___ can travel along a curve;

• ___ can use items in their backpack as if they were in their inventory;

• Silencer cannot be ___;

• "This hero" has no level upgrades at level 1;

• Lifestealer permanently gains ___ when killing a creep;

• ___ starts the game with an additional 250 gold;

• Enemies inside ___ cannot see allies.

One of the main innovations could be the full map reveal at dawn. This mechanic could significantly impact match outcomes, as it allows players to see the location of all enemies, albeit for a brief period.

Additionally, the arena system is likely to be reworked, and now opponents will not be able to see allies who enter the arena's area of effect.

It's worth noting that Valve faced issues with the second act of Crownfall, leading to a delay in the release.
